Directory Listings
Free Listings

We offer free listings to approved non-profit organizations and registered charities that align with our mission.  Verification may be required.

Paid Listings
Businesses may purchase featured placements or premium listing tiers.  All paid listings are subject to our Refund Policy and must be kept up to date by the listing owner.

Listing Content
You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing.  By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to publish it and that it does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to:

• Edit or reject any submission
• Remove listings that are outdated, inaccurate, or inappropriate
• Re-categorize listings to maintain consistency and relevance

Payments and Billing
All paid services are processed securely through Stripe.  By purchasing a listing or service, you agree to:

• Provide valid billing information
• Authorize recurring billing for subscriptions (if applicable)
• Cancel before the renewal date to avoid additional charges

All payments are subject to the terms in our Refund Policy.

Prohibited Conduct
By using The Mystic District, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Upload content that is offensive, discriminatory, or violates any law
• Attempt to access restricted areas or other users’ accounts
• Scrape or copy listings for commercial purposes without consent
• Impersonate another person or business

We maintain the right to suspend or ban users who violate these rules.

Intellectual Property
All content on The Mystic District, including our logo, brand name, design, blog posts, and original copy, is protected by Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce our content without written permission.
• Business owners retain ownership of their submitted content but grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and promote it.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Mystic District is not liable for:

• Losses or damages resulting from reliance on listings or information found on the site
• Business outcomes, sales, or traffic resulting from a listing
• Errors, downtime, or interruptions in website service
• Third-party platform failures (e.g. Stripe, Klaviyo, Google Analytics)

You use the site and services at your own discretion and risk.
