NUIT

Allow me to introduce to you to your next Canadian obsession, NUIT. Based in Toronto, Nuit is a small-scale gothic brand focused on natural fabrics (linen mostly), size inclusivity, and slow fashion philosophy.

The silhouettes are gorgeous; pieces like draped tunics, corset inspired structured tops, to flowing ritual-like garments are the signature looks that set NUIT apart. The prevailing vibe is “witchy minimalism” which we can totally get behind, as we are partial to over-the-top accessories anyway. The overall production is fabulous to behold and we can’t get enough of them. 

This is so refreshing for us as Canadians because fashion houses like this don’t get a lot of visibility. We found NUIT via instagram, and we’re so glad we did. Seeing they are Canadian means they hold a rare spot in the world producing elegant, witchy pieces like this so close to home and against the grain of what it is to be Canadian.
